A kick in the mouth ... from the horse’s mouth

Posted by Guessedworker on Wednesday, 04 May 2005 14:42.

On my daily round of the internet I check both the BNP’s website and Amren’s to see if anything new and interesting is to be found there.  Both can be excellent sources for factual (and not merely opinion-based) reports of the times in which we live.  Irrespective of the Pavlovian tendencies people may have picked up from the censorious left, anyone sufficiently honest and courageous to want to understand our changing society should risk all and visit both.

On May 1st the BNP published two video links pertaining to the new craze (mainly but not exclusively) among black youths for assaulting strangers and recording the event by mobile phone-camera.  They call it Happy Slapping.  Devotees of anti-racism and blank slate equality can assess this eloquent and, of course, always vibrant form of inter-racial discourse here and here.  Yes, yes ... all just good natured joshing.  Naturally.  White racism is at the bottom of it and the BNP are violent Nazis, as we all know.  Because we are always told to think that by the anti-racist good and great of the liberal establishment.  So it must be true.

What we are never told is what our burgeoning and, of course, always vibrant black population thinks of us.  And on this arcane subject “Robert”, a commenter on an Amren thread, posted this link to Blacknet yesterday.

Read it and weep.  These people can’t wait to get shot of whites entirely from the areas which they now inhabit.  They understand their own ethnic genetic interest perfectly well.  We jump to the conclusion that because we don’t understand ours nobody is any different.  A naive and stupid assumption.  Every misguided English Conservative, libertarian, liberal and leftist should make it his or her business to become thoroughly acquainted with the mind at work on this board.  Of reciprocal altruism - or even basic goodwill - there is no trace.  Not much good-natured joshing either, I think.  These people really couldn’t care less about us.  Frankly, I get the impression that as we concede our homes and women and deceive ourselves that nothing momentous is in train they just can’t believe their luck.  In an, of course, always vibrant sense.

Are they representative or aberrative?  What do you think?

And how do you like your opinion “shaped”?

So, after all the deceit and obfuscation we get this:-

Secret documents revealed yesterday show that, almost a year before the Iraq invasion, Tony Blair was privately preparing to commit Britain to war and topple Saddam, despite warnings from his closest advisers that it was unjustified.

The documents show how Mr Blair was told how Britain and the US could “create the conditions” for an invasion, partly, in the words of Jack Straw to “work up” an ultimatum to Saddam Hussein even though in the foreign secretary’s own words, “the case was thin”.

They also show how Mr Blair was planning to justify regime change as an objective, despite warnings from Lord Goldsmith, the attorney general, that the “desire for regime change was not a legal base for military action”.

Next Thursday and the Multi-Cult’s first prize

Nick Carter is everything the soon-to-be disappearing English majority of Leicester do not need in the editor of their local newspaper.  In his hands the Leicester Mercury is the messenger of multiculturalism and anti-racism.  Nick is profoundly dedicated to both and, as such, is the indefatigable enemy of majority interests.

He regards multiculturalism as the “basis on which our society is built” - a somewhat questionable claim, it must be said.  Perhaps he can plead in mitigation that he does not belong to that waning ethnic majority and doesn’t know any better.  Or perhaps he does and he does, but he is ideologically incapable of averring to the real foundations of England and the real people who built them.

He is no historian, in all fairness – and one should strive to retain one’s sense of fairness even with people like this, in fact especially with people like this.  He claims: “This country has been multi-cultural for a very long time.”  I am not absolutely sure when multiculturalism became our official religion.  I must admit, I thought it was rather recently.  But if Nick says it was long, long ago when Leicester’s housing estates emerged from the primordial mists and the first, of course, always vibrant immigrants drove out the neanderthals and built a mosque … well, he must be right.

If at first you don’t succeed, reinterpret the law!

In 2003 a leader of a Swedish gay rights group, Susanna Gustafsson, decided to “have a pash” with her girlfriend in a Stockholm restaurant. The restaurant owner asked them to leave.

Did Anglo-Australia really exist?

Posted by Guest Blogger on Monday, 25 April 2005 01:19.

John Ray recently contributed an article which claimed that in 1981 only 35% of the Australian population were of British origin.

As I mentioned in the comments, I find such a statistic difficult to believe, simply on the basis of my own everyday observations. Furthermore, the statistic needs to be taken seriously because if it were true it would undermine the idea that Australia once had its own distinctive Anglo-Australian (or Anglo-Celtic Australian) identity.

So I googled. I came up with two excellent articles, both from the kind of official sources which I think would satisfy John’s request for citations.

Another attempt to explain.  Another retreat from the truth.

This Telegraph article, Labour’s immigration policy? Lots more of it by Alasdair Palmer, is indicative of a problem affecting all political commentary on the topic of immigration: nobody will say the real reason why mass immigration is happening.

Migration Dialogue and Migration News

Tim Gillin has drawn my attention to this service, Migration Dialogue, and its subscription newsletter, Migration News.  Both are run by Philip Martin, Department of Agricultural Economics, University of California, Davis, California and tend, therefore, to have an agricultural focus.  The newsletter is free of charge in electronic form.  Reporting is politically neutral, insomuch as anything can be said to be so.  Which at least leaves us something to do!

White Gold

When most people think of slavery they probably have an image of a white slave owner and a black slave. This is the picture of slavery we have been given through countless books, films and TV shows.

It’s an image which fits in well with left-wing theories that white men have established a dominant power structure which oppresses other races, and that therefore white society is morally illegitimate and must be deconstructed.

Up to now, the main argument against such a left-wing view has been that it was actually white men who ended the slave trade. This is a good and effective argument, but it now appears that much more ought to have been said against the left-wing view.
